How it Works

Evaluate

Once I receive your intake form, I’ll reach out to set up an in-person evaluation.  I want to understand the goals you have for your dog and meet your dog in their environment.  Together, we'll then determine the best course of action to meet your dog's needs, your goals, and your lifestyle. Once we agree on the right plan, I’ll leave you with some homework to help us hit the ground running for your dog's first session.

Work

The number of sessions needed will vary from dog to dog, but each could be up to 60 or 90 minutes. We can discuss scheduling sessions as a package or individually. During these sessions, I’ll work with you and your dog together and separately and will meet you in the location needing the most focus (at home, in a public setting, etc.) I may spend time with your dog independently to focus on socialization, obedience training, exercise, or simply to build a connection.  This one-on-one time will help me understand your dog because I want to bring out the best in them.

Commit

My goal is to make small improvements every day and your commitment to this goal is equally important.  I'll build a connection with your dog to gain their trust for training, but no one knows your dog like you do. I'll need your expertise to realize your dog's full potential.  Once we understand how your dog learns and they understand our expectations in return, the result is a stronger mutual bond.  Think of me as a personal fitness trainer with a twist.  I'll take some of the heavy lifting, but together we carry the weight of enhancing your dog's life.  Let’s get started on this training journey!
